Meet Jenna Smith

Not many people find their way to financial services through a career in sports. Jenna Smith is not most people.

She built her career in operations the hard way - managing the fast-moving, high-stakes logistics of collegiate and professional sports. She started with the University of Oklahoma Sooners football program, then relocated to San Diego, where she simultaneously managed lacrosse recruiting operations for a national organization and worked with the San Diego Padres. That kind of work demands precision, composure under pressure, and an ability to keep complex moving parts aligned when the margin for error is essentially zero.

Those instincts transferred seamlessly when she moved into financial services. She spent time on the institutional side at Charles Schwab, building a deep understanding of how the broader financial ecosystem operates. From there she moved to the independent advisory space, working with RIA firms to build and improve the operational systems that keep advisors focused on clients - and clients focused on their goals.

Jenna joined Guided Wealth after being recruited by her colleague Carolyn Pratt, FPQP®, who had seen firsthand how she works: she doesn't just solve problems. She redesigns the system so the problem doesn't happen again.
