    Frequently asked

    Questions about membership.

The first step is a short discovery call. We walk through your situation, the planning that matters most right now, and which membership fits. There is no obligation, and we will not recommend a tier you do not need.

Yes. Memberships are designed to move with you. As your situation gets simpler or more complex, we revisit the right fit together. Changes take effect at the start of the following billing month.

Once your assets under management at Guided Wealth reach the threshold shown on your tier, the monthly retainer waives automatically (after one year of membership is completed). Investment management fees still apply per our standard schedule, and all included planning services continue without interruption.

Yes. Guided Wealth Planning is a registered investment adviser and acts as a fiduciary to every client at all times. We are compensated only by the fees our clients pay us - the flat monthly retainer, the one-time onboarding fee, and the asset-based investment management fee disclosed in our Form ADV Part 2A. We do not accept commissions, referral fees, or third-party compensation of any kind.

Investment management is optional and billed separately on a percentage of assets, per our published fee schedule. It covers portfolio design, ongoing rebalancing, tax-aware trading, and integration with the rest of your plan.

No. Tax filing is optional in Strategic Wealth, included for personal returns in Private Client Services, and covers personal plus entity returns in Family Office. If you already work with a CPA you trust, we coordinate with them directly so the plan and the return stay aligned.

Family Office is quoted individually rather than at a fixed monthly rate. Pricing reflects the complexity of the engagement - the number of entities and trusts, business interests, private holdings, generations involved, and the outside professionals we coordinate. We scope it with you before anything is agreed to, and review it annually as the work changes.

    Disclosures
    • Fees. Membership fees are billed monthly in advance.
    • Onboarding. Onboarding fees are separate, one-time charges in year one only and may be adjusted for complexity.
    • Family Office. Family Office fees are individually quoted based on the scope and complexity of the engagement and are documented in your advisory agreement.
    • Investment management. Optional and billed separately according to the applicable fee schedule.
    • Tax preparation. Personal tax preparation and filing applies to personal returns only; entity and business tax preparation are available for an additional fee outside of Family Office.
    • Fit tool. The membership fit tool is educational only. It provides a general starting point based on limited inputs, is not advice or a recommendation, and may suggest a discovery call rather than a tier.
